#BlackLivesMatter ~No Justices No Peace

Black Lives Matter is a unique contribution that goes beyond extrajudicial killings of Black people by police without justice. Black Lives Matter centers those that have been marginalized within Black liberation movements. It is a movement that (re)build Black people and the communities they live in. The black lives matter movement started in 2013 after the George Zimmerman's trial about the death of Trayvon Martin. The movement began with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter started by Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi. The movement is still going on till this day and is changing the black community in a positive way. The picture at the bottom is a piece of art that I designed, I wanted to create something that I was feeling with a message behind it.
